GRAND Mental Health has a seasoned leadership team dedicated to improving life by making long-term, positive generational impact. We want to leverage the mental health industry as a launching pad to change the course of communities around the globe for the better.     President and Chief Executive Officer

    Josh Cantwell brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role as chief executive officer, having joined GRAND in 2004, and previously risen to his most recent role as chief operating officer. As chief operating officer, Josh guided the day-to-day operations of GRAND Mental Health’s 31 locations and centers in 13 Oklahoma counties, employing more than 1,700 staff. During his tenure with GRAND, Josh has been instrumental in the development and oversight of many of the agency’s breakthrough mental health programs including GRAND’s patented 24/7 treatment model, which utilizes mobile technology and numerous levels of care to provide instant access to treatment when and where it is needed.

    Both a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and certified peer recovery support specialist (CPRSS), Josh holds a master’s degree in business from Rogers State University and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Oklahoma. His nearly 20-year career in the mental health field includes leadership roles at ROCMND’s Tulsa Area Prevention Resource Center and the Oklahoma Mental Health Courts system. In addition, Josh has created and published more than 20 therapeutic games focusing on mental health and substance use. He is well positioned to lead GRAND’s future growth and continued mission to improve the lives for those they serve.

    Carl is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience leading both clinical and non-clinical operations across large, integrated health systems. He has served in senior leadership roles with UCSF Health, Ascension, MultiCare, and Stanford Health Care, where he oversaw hospital and outpatient operations, mergers and acquisitions, and new hospital development. A Lean Black Belt, Carl is recognized for his ability to solve complex operational challenges, improve system performance, and lead large, diverse teams — including organizations with up to 5,000 indirect reports.

    Carl began his career in a substance abuse treatment center, which shaped his enduring commitment to behavioral health. Over the years, he has advanced to oversee both inpatient and outpatient mental health services, combining his background in psychology with his operational expertise. With master’s degrees in both psychology and healthcare administration, Carl brings a unique blend of clinical insight and strategic leadership. He will be relocating from Colorado to Tulsa, where he is committed to strengthening access to care and advancing innovative solutions for the communities he serves.

    Trica joined GRAND Mental Health in 2015 as the benefits administrator. Prior to that, her career had been in HR and risk management fields in retail, public power, and small business HR consulting. Trica says her entering the mental health field came at a perfect time, as circumstances around her gave her a personal connection to the mission of GRAND Mental Health.

    In her current role as CXO, Tricia guides the overall experience of clients, partners, and staff. She works across departments to enhance access, communication, service quality, and cultural responsiveness, helping create an environment where everyone feels valued, heard, and empowered. Prior to becoming CXO, Tricia served as Chief Human Resources Officer, overseeing all human resources, learning and professional development, and marketing/public relations functions for GRAND.

    Rony has over 18 years of expertise in information technology, including in-depth experience in managing IT compliance and audit requirements. As CIO for GRAND, Rony oversees all company systems and technology needs, as well as lead the organization’s digital transformation and related business practices. Prior to joining GRAND, he spent 8 years developing and leading IT strategies for a world-leading, publicly traded manufacturing firm based in Tulsa, OK.

    Having received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, specializing in software engineering with a minor in Mathematics, Rony most recently earned a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from the University of Tulsa. A servant leader with a strong sense of community engagement, his volunteer experience includes Tulsa Area United Way, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Oklahoma, Crosstown Learning Center, and Meals on Wheels of Metro Tulsa.

    Jeff has been with GRAND Mental Health for 20 years and has worked in the mental health field for 26 years. He started his career as a psychiatric technician at a children’s psychiatric inpatient hospital, then worked as a utilization review specialist and finally a therapist before coming to GRAND.

    Jeff joined GRAND as a supervisor for children’s programs in Rogers and Mayes counties. Since then, he’s held a number of increasingly senior roles within the organization, most recently as Chief Administration Officer (Tulsa) where he provided oversight and supervision for the GRAND Addiction Recovery Center and the Tulsa Outpatient Certified Community Behavioral Health Center (CCBHC) site. In his current position, Jeff provides organization-wide operational leadership, focusing on efficiency, standardization, and consistent service delivery across all regions. He partners with clinical and administrative leaders to align operations with organizational goals, optimize resources, and support sustainable growth.

    Jeff’s passion is helping to build future leaders within GRAND and expanding the organization’s service offerings to help more people gain access to the support they need. He appreciates the innovative, out-of-the-box approach to improving mental health care that is core to culture at GRAND. In 2021, he was honored with the CW Ramana Award for his outstanding work with children.

    Recognizing early on that everyone’s life is somehow impacted by mental health and/or substance use, Kimberly followed her passion to make a positive impact by choosing a career centered around working with children and families. Starting as a “childcare worker” in a youth shelter, she has since held a wide variety of roles in her 25+ years in the mental health field.

    Kimberly has served GRAND for more than 17 years. In her current role, she provides organization-wide operational leadership, focusing on efficiency, standardization, and consistent service delivery across all regions. She partners with clinical and administrative leaders to align operations with organizational goals, optimize resources, and support sustainable growth.

    Throughout her career, Kimberly has contributed to the advancement of mental health treatment, publishing works including co-authoring Working Therapeutically with Families: Creative Activities for Diverse Family Structures and presenting at several industry conferences, including the International School Social Work Conference in Pusan, Korea in 2006.

    Jared has over 18 years of leadership and financial experience. He began his career in the mental health and substance abuse field in 2017 at 12&12 as the controller. He moved into the role of CFO a couple of years later and helped during the merger with GRAND Mental Health in 2021.

    In his current role, Jared oversees the financial and billing operations for GRAND to ensure that all the audit and financial requirements are met and that best practices are followed.

    With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting from Northeastern State University, Jared’s business decision-making and financial reporting play a vital role in driving GRAND’s growth.

    Matthew began his career in the mental health field in 2008 doing research at Oklahoma State University. He has substantial practicum experience with the aging population in the hospital setting and has worked in an inpatient setting with children. In 2012, he began working in the community mental health field and fell in love with providing services to the community.

    Matthew joined GRAND as a behavioral health professional. Since then, he has held many positions and titles within GRAND, including mental health court therapist, adult services administrator over the Washington county clinic, clinical director in Rogers county, regional clinical officer and Chief Clinical Officer (NE/NC). He has facilitated substance use and intensive outpatient groups and helped build and develop the Mental Health Court in Washington county.

    In his current role, Matthew leads our clinical vision, ensuring quality, compliance, and innovation in service delivery. He oversees clinical programs, regulatory adherence, and evidence-based practices while fostering collaboration between clinical and operational teams.
