GRAND Mental Health Hosts Clothing Drive to Support Clients in Addiction Recovery
On Dec. 12, 2025, from 8–10 a.m., GRAND Mental Health will host a community clothing drive to support individuals entering substance use treatment at its residential Addiction Recovery Center in Tulsa—many of whom arrive with nothing more than the clothes they’re wearing.
At GRAND Mental Health’s Addiction Recovery Center, nearly 92% of clients arrive with limited belongings after experiencing housing instability, trauma, or emergency intervention, and lack basic essentials like clean clothing or hygiene and personal care items.
“When someone takes the courageous step to seek help, something as simple as having fresh clothes can restore dignity, reduce barriers to treatment, and support long-term recovery.” Said Josh Cantwell, CEO of GRAND Mental Health.
At GRAND, staff see this reality every day. This clothing drive aims to meet those immediate needs—providing comfort, confidence, and a sense of humanity at a critical moment in their recovery journey, and during a time of year when they need it most.
