GRAND Mental Health Hosts Battle of the Bands Benefit Concert in support of Addiction Recovery
Tulsa, Oklah. – [Mar. 30, 2026] – What started as an idea from a passionate GRAND Mental Health staff member has grown into a powerful community movement. Blending a deep commitment to addiction recovery with a love of live music, GRAND Mental Health is hosting a Battle of the Bands benefit concert on May 16, 2026, from 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. at the Gateway Event Center to raise funds, awareness, and hope for individuals on the road to recovery.
More than a concert, this event is a celebration of Oklahoma’s vast recovery community, and a call to action. Proceeds will directly support GRAND’s life-saving work in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, access to care, outreach and crisis care. Every dollar raised helps create pathways to stability, healing, and hope for individuals striving to reclaim their lives.
“This event reflects the heart of our community and our organization,” said Josh Cantwell, CEO of GRAND Mental Health. “I’m proud of our team members active in the recovery community, who see the impact of this work every day and wanted to find a creative way to engage their peers & friends, reduce stigma, and celebrate recovery. We often hear from newcomers the worry that recovery can’t be fun. Thanks to our team and this community, we’re here to prove that wrong.”
In addition to being a recovery community celebration and fundraiser, the GRAND Battle of the Bands aims to increase overall community awareness about the challenges and successes faced by people living full lives beyond their addictions. Everyone has some association with addiction through family, friends, neighbors, etc. This 100% sober event invites all attendees to not only enjoy local music talent, but to connect with a shared purpose rooted in hope, recovery, and connection.
Tickets are on sale now, attendees directly support community wellbeing, second chances, and solutions that strengthen lives across our community. Each ticket represents a commitment to recovery and meaningful change where it matters most.
Purchase your tickets today and support those working every day to create pathways to recovery and hope.
